A couple weeks ago we decided to give (gift/shove/beg to take/etc) Collin to my parents. A third Jack in this house was just wreaking havoc on our house physically. He tore up stuff and ruined the living room carpet and never seemed to understand the concept of housetraining, along with a million other things. It was just too much to handle. Baylee and Gavin did enjoy playing with him for the most part, but even they had their moments when they were just sick of him but couldn't get away from him. So my parents agreed to take him. Dad has loved Collin from the first day and they are a great match. He's been there for a couple weeks now and it seems to be going well. I miss him but it is definitely a much quieter household now.
We are leaving for Florida next Thursday morning and cant wait! We're flying out of Atlanta around 11am and will be coming back on Monday afternoon. We'll be spending five days with Jay's family. Even all of his out-of-state family from his dad's side will be coming to Sarasota so we can all be together.
It's so nice to have a break from the regular routine of work. I love my job but it's always nice to have a break. I'll be working in my kiddo's house from 9-1 next Mon, Tues, and Wed, and then again the week after when we get back. We go back to school on the 4th. I really love shadowing and I would love to be able to stay with this kiddo for a long time.
We do have more news to share.....something we've been talking about for a long time......it's baby time for the Miller household. :) Nothing official yet, but we hope to have an announcement soon, or within the next couple of months. You'll be among the first to know. :)
