Obviously I'm getting into the habit of blogging once a month. :)

The last few weeks have been the same as usual. Just as I start to really get into a routine with my kiddos at work, the schedule is about to change. I was under the impression we changed kids every 6 months, but now it's going to be every 3 months. In one way, it's a good thing, b/c one can get really burnt out if you have a difficult kid...or lead. I won't go into details but I am pretty happy to have a change. My kids now are pretty easy and I've bonded with both and enjoy them both, but for some other reasons it will be good for me to change. We won't find out our new schedule/kids for another couple of weeks, at least, but we are supposed to start the new rotation on June 1st. I still LOVE the job - I look forward to going (most) every day and usually have a pretty good day. I've made some great friends there!

Jay is still looking for a day-shift job, but not much out there right now that's calling his name. He's going back to the dr this Wednesday to talk about some other options, b/c he's not feeling any better. He's been taking Synthroid for his hypothyroidism and, while it's working for that, it's causing a lot of other issues that need to be addressed. So pray for him please - we REALLY need to get it all fixed so he can feel better and be back to his old self again.

He does have this weekend off and we're looking forward to just relaxing at home together. :)

Yes, yes, I'm still on the earth. I know I can no longer chide my friends for not posting regularly...... :( lol

I get so BUSY in the evenings and I just don't think to post or feel like it when I do think about it. Since I dont have the computer regularly with me at work so I dont think about blogging until I get home and start reading other ppls' blogs.

The last few weeks have been great! I fall more in love with this job every day. I have my moments where certain ppl/situations REALLY frustrate me, but for the whole, I've made a few great friends and there are others I will have to learn to tolerate. The kids are fantastic and I look forward to going to work every morning.

Jay's job really frustrates him lately - not the job itself, but the night shift. He's really been looking for a day-shift job but there's not much out there he wants to do. So if you know of anything (ANYthing) please let us know.
